GPA Calculator
Compute your weighted GPA across courses. Supports the 4.0 scale (US universities) and 10.0 scale (most Indian engineering colleges). Add as many courses as you need.

Formula: Σ(grade × credits) / Σ(credits). The 4.0 (US) scale is most common in US universities. Indian percentage formula varies by institution — verify with your university.
4.0 scale (US)
| Letter | Grade points | % range |
|---|---|---|
| A / A+ | 4.0 | 93–100 |
| A− | 3.7 | 90–92 |
| B+ | 3.3 | 87–89 |
| B | 3.0 | 83–86 |
| B− | 2.7 | 80–82 |
| C+ | 2.3 | 77–79 |
| C | 2.0 | 73–76 |
| D | 1.0 | 60–69 |
| F | 0.0 | < 60 |
10.0 scale (Indian universities)
Most IITs, NITs, and AICTE-affiliated engineering colleges use a 10-point CGPA scale. Direct grade points (e.g., AA=10, AB=9, BB=8...). Many universities convert to percentage by multiplying CGPA × 10 (with some institutions using CGPA × 9.5 or other formulas — verify with your registrar).
Formula
GPA = Σ (grade × credits) / Σ credits Higher-credit courses count more. A 4-credit course at A is worth more than a 1-credit elective at A. Plan your effort accordingly.
